Don MacFarland

Don is an Insurance Professional and an Entrepreneur.

He has worked with Insurance Carriers, Retail Agents, Brokers and Managing General Agents, Software Vendors, and Insurance Consulting companies, through out the span of his career. He has held positions in Agency Management, Agency Interface Management, Product Management, Data Management, System Management and Sales / Marketing both “Direct to Consumer” and “Business to Business” for Insurance Carriers. He has managed Sales and Marketing nationally for software vendors and Insurance Consulting companies and has a successful track record in Sales and Marketing, Product Development, Product Positioning for software and consulting in the Insurance space.

From 1984 to 2000 he worked for Great American Insurance holding the following positions, Vice President of e-Commerce Marketing, Assistant Vice President of Systems, Director of Data Services, Product Manager, Pricing Analyst , Agency Sales and Marketing.

In 2000 he worked for Applied Business Technologies Corporation as the Sr. Vice President of Business Development.

In 2001 Don founded Web Application Marketing Management and Consulting (WAMMAC). The goal of the company was to provide services to the Insurance vertical in the area of Sales, Marketing and Technology.

Don has been an independent consultant working for various companies in the Insurance space from 2001 – Present.
